STATUS


SKG3 has staged living history displays for English Heritage, the National Trust, the National Army Museum, and numerous regional museums and open-air events. We have been commissioned to provide film footage for five TV documentaries in addition to research material used in published works, numerous magazine articles, and archaeological reports. Our Society is proud to have been requested to furnish speakers for several prestigious institutions.

Festival of History, July 2011






Once more 18th century societies gathered at Kelmarsh to stage several AWI skirmishes for English Heritage. Here are a few photos of our Queen's Rangers on active service. Thanks Georgie for the great photos.

HMS Bounty visits Plymouth, May 2011



SKG3 was commissioned to provide a Royal Navy landing party and military guard to work with HMS Bounty's visit to the Plymouth waterfront. The two day event was very well received by the public and Deputy Mayor. Here are a few photos of the display. Thanks are due to Georgie Ratcliffe for recording this event.
